Happy Baby!

The other night, Hunter had a great nap and after a bum change and eating, he was a super happy baby!

Tummy Time & Play Time!

Hunter has learned to enjoy tummy time a bit more now then when we first started doing tummy time. It has helped using the small pillow that came with his play gym, but what has helped the most is using his Boppy for tummy time, thanks to Aunt Jami for that tip. :) He is getting a very strong neck, and holds his head up by himself except for every once in a while he will drop it forward, usually when he is sleepy or mad. :)

Because he does hold his head up so well, we decided to try the Bumbo (again, Aunt Jami's idea) and he is learning to enjoy it more and more.

The first time we put him in it, he wasn't quite sure what to think.

He is getting so grown up! Hunter is also very much loving the mirror we have on the top of his play gym. He will smile and stare at the mirror for quite awhile before he gets bored. It's pretty funny to watch.

I absolutely love watching Hunter grow and learn. I am so grateful for Cody and being able to have the opportunity to stay at home with our little man. :)

Batman!

As most of you know, Hunter's nickname has been "Batman" since I was 19 weeks pregnant and we found out he was a boy. Whenever I see something that has Batman on it or the Batman logo, I have a very hard time resisting buying it. Here are a few things from his Batman collection so far...

These are the first Batman things I purchased for him, while I was still pregnant.

This is a binky clip that his Aunt Jami made for him.

An awesome onesie that Aunt Maday and Uncle Brandon got him for Christmas.

I purchased this one because it said, "The Batman" and I couldn't resist! :)

A hat and mittens from Aunt Carlie.

And finally, Hunter's GodMother, Molly, sent him this amazingly, awesome tin lunchbox. Love it!

Hunter has acquired many more nicknames in the last three months such as Buddy, Little Dude, The Babe and Baby Boo, but Baby Batman still is the number one nickname that the majority of people call him. With our luck, he will probably grow up to love Spiderman! :)

3 Months

Wow...just wow. I still cannot believe that it has only been three months since I had our little bundle of joy. Seriously, it feels as if he has always been in our lives. It amazes me just how much this little man has captured my heart. I can't explain the happiness that I feel each day to be with Cody and Hunter, and of course Vega. :) I absolutely love our little family.

Back to work...

This last week Cody went back to work after a very long time being away. First there was the six weeks spent in Utah that he worked from my in-laws house, then the four weeks he got for paternity leave. Things went well for Cody, and on Monday when he got home from work, he needed some snuggle time with Hunter.

It wasn't too bad being all alone with the baby. He is a pretty mellow little dude, so the days aren't too stressful other than it takes me longer to get the house cleaned up, so it's a good thing he just a little person and doesn't make TOO much of a mess right now. :) So, it seems as if everyday he grows out things, but that means that we get to wear all his other cute new clothes!

This outfit is one of his first 3 month old outfits. Still a little big, but oh so adorable!

Gettin' Big!

Hunter has been growing like a weed! I have already had to put some of his newborn clothes away because he has grown out of them. It seems so silly that that would make me upset, but it just seems like he is growing so fast! I know every mom feels that way when they have to put small clothes away because their babies outgrow them, but still. :)
