Photo Shoot!

So, I decided to take some pictures of Hunter the other day in his cute little overalls. It was just the cutest outfit, I couldn't resist snapping some pictures!

I could just eat him up!

We also decided to go outside and take some pictures of Cody and I with Hunter. It was super sunny outside, so it was a little hard to take the pictures without the sun shinning in Hunter's eyes, but somehow we managed. :)

Four Months

Hunter had his four month check up this morning. He is weighing in at 11 pounds 10 ounces and is 23.5 inches long. He is still on the small end of things, but he is progressing very well.  He even rolled over last Saturday from his back to his tummy! But he had to get his shots today, and I was so nervous! I held his little hands and the first shot didn't even phase him, but after the second one, he started crying. A few screams and a few tears, and I picked him up and snuggled him and he stopped crying. I put him back on the table to put his pants on, and Cody came over to see him and Hunter sadly told him about how crappy the shots were. :) It was too cute! Then of course, his Daddy got a big smile out of him before we put him back in his carseat. :) So far today he has been his sweet, happy, normal self. Sleeping just a bit more than usual, but so far no crying. :) Let's hope this keeps up.

I still can not believe that our little man is four months old already!  It seriously feels like yesterday we were getting ready to leave for Utah for Christmas, and little did we know, Hunter was also preparing for his arrival in Utah for Christmas.  :)  We love you so much, Hunter!

Happy Birthday to My Mom!

I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to my wonderful mother! She is such a fantastic lady! I won't say how exactly how old she is, but I'm guessing around 29. :) I like to think she raised a smart, well adjusted woman (me) through hard times and easy times. She has such a strong spirit, and I really hope that I can become just like her.

The Dog Park

The Saturday before Easter was a beautiful warm sunny day here in Seattle, so we decided to go to the Marymoor Park dog park. Cody takes Vega there quite often, but we hadn't taken Hunter yet because the weather has just been too rainy and cold. We put both of our kiddos in the car and off we went. Vega knew where we were headed and was barking and whining quite loud, and Hunter was just watching her pace back and forth in the car. I don't think that Hunter had ever heard his puppy make that noise before, and he did't know what to make of it. :) Anyway, both Hunter and Vega enjoyed the wonderful day outside.

Easter

We had such a fantastic first Easter with Hunter. We colored eggs and had a visit from the Easter Bunny.

It was a beautiful day here in Seattle, and we were able to enjoy being outside and hang out on the deck and swing. We had a yummy brunch with virgin mimosas (Sprite and orange juice, we didn't have champagne) and I experimented with my cooking skills (Oh no!), with some snacketizers. :) I made asparagus, prosciutto, and brie on a toasted baguette slice. I don't mind saying, they were delicious. :) And for dinner we had ham, orange glazed carrots, funeral potatoes and rolls. It was all so yummy! It was such a wonderful, fantastic first Easter with our little man. :)

Such fun...

Hunter has been so much fun! He is so smiley and learning to grab his toys and loves looking at his colorful books while I read to him. He is awake a lot more during the days and is learning to sleep fairly well at night. He still loves his swing and every morning he enjoys swinging in it and watching the mobile attached. We have found a binky brand that he loves and he can keep in his mouth, which helps with his nap time and bed time. He has been such a wonder to watch grow.

Vega's New Trick

Cody decided to teach Vega a new trick a few weeks ago, and she learned it in about a week. We tell her to beg and she sits on her hind legs and will lift her front paws up as if she is saying, "More please." Of course, after she mastered that, Cody had her stay and put a treat on her nose. She is such a good dog! Love her!
